In an effort to remain affordable to individuals of differing levels of employment and income, the Society for the Study of Symbolic Interaction (SSSI) offers three different membership rates. Please read below for a summary of each membership category to select the payment rate that aligns with your employment status.
The SSSI Student Membership is a discounted rate intended for individuals who are current students and those who fall into the following categories: unemployed, retired, adjunct or contingent faculty.
The SSSI Membership is intended for individuals who have received tenure at their university or institution.
The SSSI Untenured Membership is a discounted rate intended for individuals who have not received tenure at their university or institution, and do not fall into one of the employment categories listed under the Student Membership.
